Video Summary
Alright guys, so I just set up a testing elements page.
There’s nothing on here, I just want to go through and see what elements we can play around with that pertains to WooCommerce. Now there’s gonna be a ton of more things that we could do to build out this theme. But my primary or my primary focus for this is just to figure out how we can display our products and what options do we have? All right you guys know how to build a build out sections of a website, so I’ll let you guys play around with that.
But when I’m looking through here, we don’t need basic so I curled that up. I’m looking through here I’m not there’s a Pay Pal button but that’s not associated with our WooCommerce. So that’s not helping us. Now I see WooCommerce. But unfortunately, I’m seeing this lock over here.
And if I click on this, it says archive products widget. We need the pro version which is ok for us because we know that we could get world precedent, get a lifetime subscription and be able to download that super easy. And we’ve already just saved half of our lifetime subscription. 60 bucks, right? We can get that stuff. So I’m going to go over the WooCommerce pro sections and another another tutorial later on. I just want to go over the things that were offered to us from this thing. Okay, and that’s what I want to go over right now. So I’m gonna close the WooCommerce I’m looking down and I see broccoli and if I start scrolling down, I want to just try to target these different sections that are pertaining to our product. So I’m seeing the features but that I see feature product. So what I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna start just dragging and dropping these over and someone drag and drop our product and and what I’m seeing here is we got equipment and medicines sanitizer. I don’t know why those are our defaults. But we could essentially like this. I think if we styled this right. It reminds me of just we’ll be able to bounce back and forth between all these different products. So for right now, I’m not too worried about learning about this. We already know that we have that pocket. Let’s try feature product two. I don’t know why these aren’t in order.
This general allows us to have a sidebar not this one, does it and you can have the page nation if you wanted to. So if we come here and let’s say we do, we’ll do 27 Because we know we have 27 products. So we also to is I guess this one has four, four rows, but I guess this one doesn’t because we have a sidebar, but but with this section with a product grid we don’t but we could have let’s say instead of having 27 What if we just had 20 Come here the bottom we don’t we’re not seeing the page nation but that’s okay. But so what I’m thinking is is that if we’re going to use these this product grid or the product list, what we could really do is we could really customize our own category pages when we get to that point, or if we wanted to say we want to display these products here. We can easily set that up with ease. Now we do have our shop page but our shop page is just like kind of all products. So this way we can actually we know that we can actually really customize what pages display what products so I consider that a win and now I’m I went through most of these I’m sure I missed a few I don’t want to go through and play with everyone. I think by now you guys get the idea of how to use elements how to work with elements or how to set up everything. So with that being said, I think I think we’re done with knowing what elements we have how we want to set up, we know that we’re going to be able to build a really good site. And the last thing I’d want to test out would be the shop the actual shop page and see what we could do and edit there.
