Video Summary

Alright, so I’m going to click save progress right here. Click Activate or activate the save progress section right here. And what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna exit out of here, and I’m just gonna go back into my contact me just make sure that this new option is readily available for me. And what I’m going to do is I’m going to click over here to advance and I’m going to click on save progress and see what options I have. 

But also to is that if you have a a website where they’re where they’re able to like to have an account with you, they’re actually a member of your website, and they’re logged in. You’re allowed to have them actually have different. 

They can save different parts of their data, but only when they’re logged in. I don’t really think that’s necessary. And so I’m going to click Done. And I’m gonna be done with this section. So if you click publish, right, and it’s kind of hard to show you because I’m logged in as an admin and going forward but what we’re saying is, is that if if someone typed in all this information through all of these different steps, and they never click submit that we’re basically having the browser store the information for us, but now if they go on a different browser, or they go in incognito tab their information will be set up there. 

But I I pretty much what I do with a safe progress is I’ll just enable it on local storage and I’ll click Done and I will forget about it, but I will show you another option and that what you can do is if you go back to the forums and let’s say let’s say I have I have something here when I was testing this out, but if we come here and click the plus sign, we have this save function. So what I would do if I was using these features right here, as you could come down here and you could click, get to the bottom, click Save. And what I want to do is I want to drag this up. So I want to I want to save at the bottom. And if I click on here I’d probably say save my progress, you click Done. And then I go to the next section, and I would do the same. I’d click my little plus sign. I drag this to the bottom over here. 

Now we’re back here but I have all my information you just can’t see that’s just super slow. I can’t see it. But I have information right here and we go over here. So the same my progress right here isn’t the greatest I’d rather just delete these and just use your safe progress and enable local browser storage because I’d say more times than not when someone’s on there looking for your browser that are using a browser. They’re going to come back and use that same one over and over again. You know I prefer to use Google as my Google Chrome as my browser. some people like Safari, some people like Firefox. So they’re going to tend to use the ones that they’re used to. And by nailing the local browser storage you’ll be able to set that up. so that is the safe storage section of this tutorial, see in the next lesson.
