2.b Elementor Blog Articles

Video Summary

So now that we have our blog article page set up, now we can actually start working with our blogs. So I want us to do is go to dashboard and let’s just click on posts.

Alright, so once we’re in hosts, what we’re going to want to do is we’re going to want to just come here to title and highlight and we’re just gonna go to bulk actions and click, Edit or not edit but we’re gonna move to them and then it’s just the trash trash bin, and we’re going to click apply.

And we can just come over here and click Delete Permanently or restore or we can highlight in some of that way. I’m gonna leave them here for now. In case you want to use them later for an example or we want to see what you know, maybe having having more blog articles to see what they look like when we have maybe like 1020 30 We’ll just leave those there for now. So I want us to do is let’s go here to add new and you could use this but I think this this section is just I don’t know, it’s just kind of gross to me. But what you can do is you can set up your categories over here. So this page can be fairly, fairly useful, because then you might want to set up your categories and say like auto repair, tire replacement transmission repair, um, you can set up the tags from here, and also choose you can set your featured image but you can also do that from the elements or page builder. So let’s just click edit with Elementor page builder. And now once this page loads, okay, what we’re gonna have to do is saying that you must call the content function in the current template in order to for element to work on this page. So what does that mean? So let’s go back and what we’re going to want to do is we’re going to want to go to template here. I’m gonna click on Default Template, and we’re going to do is click on Default Template, and I’m just going to do Elementor full width.

But that’s where it will be. And what I’m thinking is is let’s let’s just hop in and just see how this is going to look. So let’s just add let’s just add a section here, and we’ll just do a single and what I’ll do is let’s see, I want to keep this box I don’t want to fool with it’s kind of like a nice blog article. So well, I like the section there. So what we’ll do is we’ll go to our elements, let’s do a title here. And I will do the you know, I’ll just copy and paste this over. Just so I have the exact title.

No, that’s let’s just delete that. And then like I’m cool with this. Let’s just have this go right into it right into the text. So let’s just say this is our blog article. I’m just gonna make some paragraphs up, you know, and now what I’ll do is I’ll just duplicate this just from time. Alright, so now you may have like three three articles. No, something that might you know, we might want to do is then come here and then set up potentially, if you want, like three images here and drag.

So you can use different video elements. So if you had maybe you had like a podcast and you recorded it, you can do video. You can do audio, any kind of element that you want, you can style this blog article just as you would an actual webpage. And blog articles are meant to be read like an article, you know, like a Word document in the sense, not necessarily a Word document but you know, you want to throw some pizzazz you want to have it be visually appealing. And also to is that adding images breaks up the tacks because I’ll be honest, not everyone no one really likes to read anymore. Right? If they are reading they want to get right to the point and if they unless they’re trying to like really learn for their school or their job or their career or their maybe some of they’re really interested in you know, like Hobby, then they’ll read it but sometimes you know someone’s just wants to learn some you know get right to the point so this so this kind of setup has been able to style like a webpage will get you a lot more conversions and will get more people reading throughout your whole website. So I’m gonna stop this video right here and we will hop into the next I’ll see you guys there.
