Video Summary

First statement we see a huge assume it’s just that now we want to check make sure we can find it at our footer. But before I do, I want to make sure what our footer looks like. So when we’re going into the Page Builder, we know exactly what we’re looking at. So it’s right now our footer and basically, we got our logo right there. We got Currently we’ve got like source column links. And we have we haven’t set up our Instagram feed yet but this is where that would go. Now, the idea of like doing this page is we’re trying to set up a one page landing page. So we’re gonna have our anchor links. So when someone clicks on menu and they click on a file, it’s going to drop down to a section of the website much like we did with the Elementor page builder, theme rents. So I’m thinking that we’ll probably maybe have like four to five sections, where we will, we’ll have links so there’s a lot there’s gonna be a lot of dead space here for what the how they have it set up and also to is that, you know, we’re just having a one page landing page for a barber shop, there’s not going to be a ton of stuff that we’re we’re going to need to call to at least for this example right now. So I’m almost thinking we might even be able to do away with this and just have this daiquiri right here and we can edit this little bottom bar. So when we get to that section, we’ll figure it out. So my thought is if if headers was in layouts, without having to go to documentation, let’s see a footer is in layout. And if we look at it is we have a footer. Type right here and it says footer informed. And what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna click Edit. 

Now what I want to do is I think it’s just gonna make our lives a little bit easier while we’re here. To worry about this anymore. We’ve just seen it, but we might want to use that later. And they have this whole section set up for us just how we want it. So I’m gonna have a whole section to this that you can call back to, but for right now, it’s kind of a sneak peek of the ways that we can set up our template. So if you come over here and you click edit this code by the pencil and click edit this row, this is where you can set up your Row Settings. And if you click on this little gear icon up here, and you click on it, it’ll pop up and have a save as templates. We’re going to click on this and I’m going to call this three column footer. 

And here’s the thing too, is that when you’re saving this, you have to click Save. All right, you have to click save changes right here and if you if you just click save changes down here, it won’t work. And we’re going to test this out, The footer. And now what you can do is it was cool as you can do the drop down and I’ll show you exactly what what it what it is. And then if you come up but if you just put the plus sign right here, it adds the template to the bottom. 

We have this section on that template we just added and we have our theme rack. And we have the original. Let’s just say we updated this for SS and GS. And we refresh this now we have two sections here. So at least now we know that we can duplicate this and call to at any time, so I feel comfortable deleting this so what I’m going to do is I’m just gonna click the X where this is right over here and they’ll delete that and I will put the extra bottom. Now all we have is the logo and we have the web text here. Let’s just edit this right now. And I’m going to do is I’m going to delete this I’m gonna type in top 

Now, if I come back here and click refresh and see what this looks like, All right, so now we have top notch Barbershop The years right all rights reserved, and we are good to go. Now we might come back here and we might we might put some stuff over here or here. 

You know, we especially could put our email and our phone number here. But I think for right now until we figure out what this page is going to look like I think this is a good enough setup. So let’s just hop back over here and make sure everything’s good to go And it is So now that we have our footer and our header setup, I think the next logical course of action is going to be creating our first section of the website. So with that being said, I think we’ll just hop over the next video and start really developing this page. I’ll see you there.
