Video Summary

Alright guys, before we hop in and start playing around with Twitter, I want to go over three notifications that you’ll be seeing and they’re pretty common with any wordpress theme and especially with the web page builder theme. So let’s just kind of hop in real quick. So let’s go with the bottom one here says hola would you like to receive automatic updates online theme support, please activate your copy of WP bakery page builder. Now what we’re seeing here is that they’re trying to get you to pay for an active license to use WP bakery page. Now, if you did that, if they made any updates to the Page Builder, they would automatically update for you and if you had any troubles using the Page Builder and you needed some support that you know they’re claiming that you know you will, there’ll be a cause or they will actually help you out and they will help you out unless you pay for this. Now here’s the thing is that when WordPress theme developers use WP bakery Page Builder to create these for us, that they that WP bakery gives them the Page Builder and lets them use their software. Their page builder free and license free so we’re still able to get all the benefits of using the WP bakery page builder. And we don’t need to pay for the active copy. So and also to as I have paid for the active copy years ago, I needed some support. And I didn’t know maybe something had something broken with using the Page Builder and I didn’t really get that greatest support. 

And I realized that I kind of just wasted I think it was like 50 bucks 4050 bucks at a time for a license that I didn’t really need. I figured out it was an issue that they did something in the back end and it wasn’t you know nothing that they could have helped me out with so save your money. You do not need to do it but if you want to try it out and you know they want to roll the dice for that 50 bucks, you know, by all means, but I would just let you know that you don’t need to. And same thing with the essential grid. They’re trying to get you to activate their their their copy but with these things they give us the they give us the the software is free, we’re able to use it so there’s no need for us to pay for a copy. But what these companies are doing is they’re you know, they’re probably pretty smart. If you get some newbies or some people who haven’t really used this thing. They’re just trying to squeeze out an extra 40 or 50 bucks from you here and there and the problem is is like if you if you fall into that trap, you end up spending a lot more money than what it’s worth. So I’m gonna go here, analogies. 

Now getting started with MailChimp. They want to get your MailChimp API key. Now MailChimp is a if you don’t know what MailChimp is MailChimp is a an email a business email service so that they can attach to your website. So let’s say someone fills out a form or you know goes to your website, and you can put your information that you can put them on your email list, right? So MailChimp is really good if you have an E commerce site or you’re setting up your maybe your lead gen, you know, forms and automated systems but to be honest, like male male chimps, like a solid company I don’t have any beef against MailChimp, but I prefer to use a different company called Active Campaign but if you have a MailChimp and you want to set it up by all means you could go through here. So this is a free plugin that you can use, but we’re not really worried about that right now. So I’m going to, unfortunately can’t hide this for right now but I can hide these notices because I know we’re we already installed the themes or put in the demo data.
