Alright, in this lesson we’re going to set up our daiquiri demo. So I want you to do is make sure that you have your daiquiri theme and Child Theme downloaded and ready to go. And if you’re using SiteGround for this demo, we’ll go through and I’ll just kind of go step by step on how I set it up. It’s gonna be I’m gonna go through quick to save time on this video. Since we’ve already did this in the Elementor page builder, and the way that we import and set the themes is standard for no matter what page builder we’re using. 

So I think I think we’ll be able to kind of cut some time there but also to is if you’re doing this demo, or you’re learning through this through the the local by flywheel development tool on your local computer. We all need stuff a new repository or set up a new WordPress platform, you know, a blank slate and we’ll start from there. But if you’re using the SiteGround what I already did is I went to subdomains, I created a demo to dot, you know, clusters of courses.com. And you can just put anything you want here, click Create and you’ll have a subdomain that you can call to. And I went to install and manage and I created a demo to worse. So basically, I just clicked on WordPress here. I made sure I was targeting my demo to domain. I set up the admin information, made sure the installed WordPress was off and I just clicked install so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna come over here, and we’re going to open up our we’re going to open up our pattern or our dashboard here. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to go to appearance, we’re gonna click on themes, and we’re click on add new and we’re gonna click on Upload Theme, right click choose file, and we’re going to open up our daiquiri folder and we’re gonna start off with just the Daiquiri zip and not the child and we’re going to install and as this is installing, just remember to is that when we we always start off with the original and we do the child last because we don’t and we don’t want to activate this yet. We just want to be able to have the the the regular theme on there and we’re going to activate the child theme, which we’ll call to this theme, but it will help you know, it just helps us to there’s a changes to the theme and the updates get uploaded, that’s not going to change anything that we’ve built. So that’s the reason for using the child theme so we’re gonna go click on new Upload Theme, click on Choose File.
