Video Summary
Okay, last video we finished up our about the company section. So naturally what I always like to do every time I wrap up a new section is just to go and see how the flow is working to make sure that we’re doing everything we were doing everything right, and then figure out what’s the next section. And so, I’ve got the we got the intro section here. We got our services section here. Now we got about the barbershop section here. And now if we scroll down, the next section here is testimonials. And I think testimonials are I think it’s a great logical next step. So I think what we’re going to do is we’re going to hop in and I don’t really foresee there’s like a ton of edits we really need to do for this section.
Now I’m going to go over and play with it but this is love. This is just entering in the stuff that you want for your your business or your clients. So if you’re setting this up, right, you might be just copy and pasting quotes straight from Google reviews. You might ask a client to give a testimonial of their own and they can they can, you know, just write you know, type you up something. So whatever it is, I’m gonna leave that to you. I don’t really think we you know, watch me type out a bunch of different testimonials. But what we can do is we can target these different sections here and style them with the colors and just play around with this testimonial section in general.
And really what it’s looking like is that this we don’t have to pay for that this testimonials slider or slider is not connected to we’re not typing up the testimonials straight from this elements. This is what the call is more or less the custom post type which is very similar to the services so you got like your team, your services, your testimonials. All those are things that you will you’ll set up separately and you can call to from here. And this This tends to get kind of tricky from times because you got you can sub different categories. So maybe you have say refer building out this whole page, right like let’s whole website and we had a page for haircuts, we got to pay for shades get a page from beard trims.
Because like because when we’re dealing with WP bakery page builder, sometimes we can download a font awesome plugin like the Font Awesome alert and the HTML and CSS courses. And we can target those those icon tags that come with them. And weakness pretty much place those in there. So well. Let’s hope that works. I’m not 100% And sometimes you’re just limited to what the theme gives you. But I don’t see that there’s much of a difference between a five star overview and actually having five stars. I mean, it’s apples and oranges your target, you know, you’re you’re, you’re chasing after maybe a five or 10% efficiency on something that’s, you know, not going to make or break your site. If some you know if this was a real barber shop and someone saw a five star Google review.
They’re not gonna be like, Oh, that wasn’t five stars. I’m not getting my hair cut there. You know what I mean? So it was just like small things we can try out and if it works great. If not, you know, you know what we did? Our best and then we can still set it up the way we need it to. And that’s another thing too is we could also even just take this off and update it and not have anything there. Alright, so if we go back now we just got Greg Smith and that might be an option for you.
