Video Summary
So now what we’re going to do right now is we’re going to figure out how we can target the subtitle to be able to change the background color. And we are going to figure out how we can target this title make a little bit bigger, and how we can target this button right here. So the first thing I’m going to do is obviously just hop into the Inspect tool. That way I can figure out exactly what classes we need to target and how we’re going to go about setting this up. So we’ll just come up here first, we’ll make sure our our little selector tool is highlighted. And what I’m seeing here is that we can target the span with the dot i n or in.
And I won’t have to update it into the Customize tool but what I can do is I can refresh and we changed it here. Now I just want to have you guys get extra practice. Because not every section is going to have a nice, you go into the button section or any kind of element and you go to the design options and you change the background color and it’s going to work 100% of the time. So if you’re going into WP bakery, it’s kind of like best practices is to figure out how you can default to the CSS whenever possible, or if you need to. So with that being said I we know that this section here with our new row class that we set up and we’re targeting this button. Now what we can do is we can come here and say background color, and what we’ll do is you can just steal one of these cards here to see how it works or how it looks. And what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna probably have to hit or do the exclamation point important to override the original CSS stylings. So I think that looks pretty good. But we’re gonna play around with it. Like I’m gonna have one view the red one view the blue and we’ll see how the kind of they both look right it’s, it’s all about, you know, its objective. You know, we might disagree, but I like to see what they all look like first.
Now, what I’m gonna do too, as well, I’m still on the button. I’m going to come here and I’m gonna target this, the span with the title on it. And I’m just going to double click into the class just because it’s we because right now we have so I can put this right here and I’ll just put my dots make sure that I make it a class, but we have this T and about section. So that’s like our row class. So we can just copy that and paste this in. And now we are targeting that.
We’re targeting that title. So we’ll just make sure we have our curly brackets. Open this up. And you know what I’ll do too is sometimes it just will be easier just to go color. And then obviously blue. And we know that we’re targeting that exact that exact title, or the tax for this button. So I’m gonna do is I’m gonna do font size, and then I’ll just take a guess I’ll start off with 25 pixels. That seems a little excessive, but that’s okay. So we’ll we’ll drop it down by 20 I think 20 Looks good. Let’s just for just to see what does 15 look like? Oh, that’s ATMs a little bit bigger. 19. Let’s try 20. Again, I think 20 was kind of a sweet spot.
