Video Summary

All right, so now we need to start strategizing about the next section. So we right now we have our intro. Intro in the business section. We have our service and kind of little bit of about section where we just have our little call outs to, you know, have them call us where they find us. We have our social links right here. And we really got to think about start thinking well the next part and I think the next section logically would be a really are we would be the about section, right? Kind of like, what was the company about why they should choose us. So that’s the thing. Now remember, like this section right here, the Explorer Bar services. You can’t really use this because this is attached to the actual, it’s like today is considered a custom post type. And basically what that is, is just like we can consider that services and each one of these sections is associated with a service page. And we’re right now we’re just trying to have a one page landing page. So really, what we’re gonna want to do is we’re going to want to get rid of this section and replace it with the about. So my thought is, if I remember right, and we go to about style two, there was a really nice call out section that had a nice kind of background image. And yeah, so this was a, I think this section right here is going to work really well for us. And what I want to do is I want to make sure that we are all set up here, and we’re gonna have to go and find an image that we’re going to be able to style and set up where the focus of the image is on the right, and we can kind of darken the other side. So I think for weight right now, I think this session is going to work for us but I want to go in and let’s set up let’s get into our page editor. 

Scroll down in this is what we’re talking about. So we can come back over here to the home. And I’m going to save this because even though we’re doing a one page landing page right now, we will at some point we might have a full fledged website. So I want to save all of the the rows and the elements and the features that came with the site or the theme. So I’m just going to save this row right here. And what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna come up over here and I’m gonna click Save as Template. 

Right. Now we remember we save in this about style to this section here. We save this as a template. So what we can do now is we can take this template icon click on it, and what we’ll do is we’ll just click the plus sign and bring it into our page going problem is it’s at the bottom of the screen. 

So now we have our intro section, our service section and now we have our kind of about section. So I’m gonna pause the video right here. And the next video we’re going to focus on setting up our background image and then we will figure out how we can how we want to style our About section here. And then we will add some CSS colorings and this should be a wrap for the about sections, so I’ll see you the next lesson.
