Video Summary

All right, so were we I think we got pretty lucky here and that the hovers are are already part of it stylings that we’ve already worked on. So we already have these ones right here in our customizer, but I do want to show you if you forgot that, let’s just highlight we’ll highlight this a color real quick and become overhearing you do you click on this H O V, and then click on hover. 

Right? But if we had this it does add the border color now. Right but we’re okay with that. We’re one of those exit out because hover will always revert to the original stylings that we have here. Unless we specify otherwise. All right, and so all we want to do is let’s just change the background color because that’s just a simple property that we can remember. Background color, and let’s try that I just know that this was blue. All I know is that the other one’s red. So what happens when we hover over? We got to put the important and and now what happens? Oh, let’s actually add dash color 

I think WP bakery page builder gives you a lot of or when you’re good at HTML CSS. It gives you a lot of flexibility that it’s easy to break down. It’s easy to customize stuff. Now the stuff that I’m doing that we just did in this lesson would be a little bit be quite harder with Elementor because the Page Builder we don’t have the you know, we can’t see these sections here. We can’t it makes it harder for us to bounce in and out. We don’t have like this nice little top bar. 

So I mean, at the end of the day, that’s kind of where we’re at and what we’re, we’re we’re just gonna keep going on. I think, you know, I recommend if you’re really trying to learn going through the rest of this course or the rest of this lesson for WP bakery, because you’re going to learn a lot about how how we can target these different classes and how we can manipulate the sites using CSS and HTML right even though the the these developers who gave us the steam didn’t set us up for easy easy ways to change the colors that they gave us. 

But but that but it doesn’t give us a we’re not pigeonholed into being forced to deal with what they gave us right? We’re able to go in and customize and change and manipulate and that we want so I hope you learned a lot in this lesson. I think the next lesson what we’re going to do is we’re going to hop in and we’re going to figure out how we can set up our About section right you know, I think that’s the most logical next steps is you know, we came in we understand that luxury men’s haircuts best barbers in town. Welcome to the barber shop, the only haircut you’ll ever need. We do haircuts, shaves, beard trims. We have our remember logo here, we got our we have our social icons here. And one thing I would say is that we didn’t go over is that if you needed to change the social the social settings here, you can just set up, go into your individual ones put in your URL link. I think that’s pretty self explanatory. But I’m not going to go in and change those because this is a fictional sites but I think I’m pretty happy with the first few sections we got thing looks good and was professional.
