Video Summary

All right, in last video, we wrapped up the basic styling for our 300 boxes for our services. Now the generic color they gave us is a really dark gray or almost kind of a lighter black and we’re just not able to see what the services are easily with the pixels that we have behind it. So we’re gonna want to figure out how we can change these titles to white. And anytime I’m going to do any kind of CSS work in the customizer, I always go to the Inspect tool to make sure everything that we want to do is right we’re able to do what we want to do. And just play around. So let’s go into the Inspect tool.

And when I do is slowly and as soon as I bring in just a little bit I see that the beard trim is maybe like half an inch to an inch longer than the hair customers shave. And I’m wondering why that is. So what I will do is is if I have my little like if you if you have this toggle on where you have the you know, the tablet and the phone, which are the devices that this little circle that you have allows you to interact with the flick, look, click and drag for FISU mimicking in your finger if you’re on a mobile device. So I’m just going to come here and click on the beard trim. And what I see is is that the 15 has dropped to the bottom so the length of this title is a little bit too long for the section. So if we come here and click on shaves, we’ve got haircut, we see that the title is short enough to stay on one line.

So we just went through you know there was a lot that went on this lesson. There was just you know, figuring out how to target the h2 element and then backtrack to how we can use the CSS to target this h2 For only this row. And now we have decided that we’re going to wait to do the mobile optimizations at the end. So I think with this I think the next section would be is think we might want to take this nice. welcome to the barber shop title right here. I kind of want to put this right above here. so there’ll be a quick video section. and then we’ll hop in and build the next one next section, probably about the company section, so we’ll see in the next video.
