Video Summary
So what we’re going to do right now is we’re going to go through all the slides and we’re going to make sure that every slide is looking good on all devices and how we do that. As we go over here to the desktop will icon and we want to make sure that notebook the tablet and the mobile are right, so sometimes the notebook is off, but we want to turn that on to make sure what looks like on small small laptop. So what I’m gonna do first, I’m going to go through and I’m going to see how that looks. Now. I see that this section right here is a little bit off. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to click on I’m gonna click on this I’m gonna click on size and position, make sure that this icon is up. And what I’m gonna do is, I’m gonna make sure that I’m going to use this width and height right here, as we move this around. So we move this, we move this around, you see that the Y and X axis right there moves but the height so same, so I’m gonna do is I’m gonna make sure that this is gonna be 4000 pixels. I’m gonna add this as 4000 pixels. The reason why I’m doing 4000 pixels is because it’s going to guarantee me that the shading for the background picture to make our text pop is going to be covered and what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna click on the center icon, and I’m gonna click on the center icon, so horizontally centering and vertically centering and basically what that does is is that guarantees me that this is going to look, look or not, I’m not going to worry about certain devices, having that little gap that we saw where, you know, maybe a little sliver corner of it.
So so this is a very helpful little trick. And I already went through and I did i greater I did this 4000 or 4000 for all the the individual slides and each individual section. I didn’t want to have to do a whole video of showing you have you watch me do that. Just save time on this. So for right now what we’re going to do is we’re going to just go up on these slides and see what each section so I think mobile looks great on this slide.
So what I’m gonna do now is that you know, everything’s looking solid mobile optimization thing. We were lucky that the wave the wave the original developers who created this for us, center every Sir the titles and the buttons for us. So that way, it looked good on every device. We have to move stuff around because sometimes let’s say let’s say for this sexual or this spot or slide, you know, maybe we had some open space here and we wanted to move our our verbiage kind of to the side where it’s not centered, then that’s where we kind of lucked out. So what we’re going to do now is we’re going to double check, and we’re gonna go in and if you have a we call it actually first let’s just make sure we’ve saved everything.
And now we’re looking at mobile. Now, when I’m looking here as I go this this section is way too tall. You know what I mean? Like, this is a 17 1700 pixels. And so that’s under there’s a setting that’s a little bit off for mobile, because Because to put this in perspective, this like maybe four to 25 pixels is how wide a really large folder. So you’re talking like four wide hallway or phone lines or four phones lips, you know, so So there’s something wrong there. So that’s okay, we’re gonna we’re gonna go back and check that out. Let’s click on tablet.
So that was that’s what the original was looking like and all what I’m seeing here is that no as the picture is fitting the height of the screen, so I’m okay with that because most say like most phones might be like 600 pixels tall, right? Or maybe even a little bit more. Maybe it’s maybe on some of them. But that’s what the homepage would look like for most devices. So I’m okay with that. But just to show you if you are not and you want to be more size conscious. What we’ll do is we’ll go to go to settings right here, we click on layout. And if you come here for sizing, if you wanted to, you can click on Auto or you can do full width, but we’re saying full screen. So what this setting when we click Full Screen, as we’re saying that this that we want the slider to take up the whole screen when someone lands on our page, whether it be a desktop or whatever. So it’s not going to make his napkin look oversized, unless you like there’s the only way it would is if you had a like a really weird computer screen that was super thin and so I’m gonna leave that there but if you want to even look at and you could adjust the different heights how tall you want it for notebook tablet I’m I’m pretty happy with how this with how this slider came out and I think we’re good to And we will start on the next section.
