31. Woocommerce Store Analytics

Video Summary

Alright guys, so for the longest time used to have our products this last kind of support and if you look up here, release reports there is a new and better and look section available for our users head over to strengthen.

Take a firm so we have WooCommerce sales reps right here we don’t have occasion look at this weakness year on Analytics, you can just see what they’re offering.

Alright, so now they’re offering you a date range you can come here you can create customer so you can pick the exact date range or you can have some preset previous year previous period you can compare to.

Now you have like your overall close sales and not sales and this is within the date range that we’re going for so we only have a couple of we have three orders that went through show you this. We haven’t sold any variations yet. We didn’t have a We didn’t buy a variable product.

But you can see kind of the charts here and you kind of see the leaderboards this is like just kind of straight overview of this is the category about uneditable sales.

Orders are now report basis. Okay got it. You do all orders. You can do advanced filters. You can set up as many as you need to on variations on products, coupon codes, customer type, right? However you want to serve your orders. We don’t have like a ton right now. But if you were you’re running an E commerce site for a year, this is where you can really get some great insights around what’s your moneymakers what what can what coupon campaigns work? You know, what’s the average the average items per order? What’s the average order value? And that can give you insights on your marketing and everything else out here. You can run your business with variations you can see like we don’t have any data right now.

But you could set up a an analytics system where you can say maybe you’re selling T shirts, and you have red, white, blue, black, green, and no one’s buying green but everyone loves black. You’ve sold 100 times more than that than the other color. Then you can figure out well like if you’re if you’re actually holding him in for yourself.

No one ever buys you know same thing with like your categories, right you can set up all you know which ones are actually making the most money and that’s where you can put you can dive into an avenue to like a campaign to say well let’s Let’s ride the high hand but foot marketing that thickness on this money or a sand you know maybe these lesser, lesser categories are more profitable and why are these shots? We should run ad campaigns and marketing campaigns to get more people to buy.

This this becomes a little bit tricky. That’s something that I think maybe convoluting that data might not be the best, because you might forget the date that you actually set up your new website. So maybe you’re looking back a year, year and a half from now and you’re getting some historical trends. And you’re looking back and you’re saying like well, you know, since we got this new website, our conversions have gone way up. And that could be well yeah, we just gotta wait better way better website website sucks. Now we got this really awesome website. And now the people’s work and you know we’re converting more of the traffic is getting so those numbers might be skewed and you might not.

So with that, I think the last thing we need to work on is marketing stuff, which is just coupons. we’ll see in the next video we’ll set up a couple of coupons, we’ll do a couple and then we have covered the default actions default options that we have with WooCommerce. So after coupon what we’re is we’re going to to start adding extensions to really extend the functionality.
