So here is another plugin that we’re gonna type in user roles and user role editor. I like this one. It’s a free version. And you can easily add user roles with different capabilities. In case you needed some customized stuff that the user roles you know, for people in your organization. So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna click install now and then we’ll activate it. 

I think of those two little happy, sad face user role editor. And let’s just find where it’s at. If you go to settings, we got user role editor. And you can also find it under user as well. So I think that makes a little bit more sense. So let’s click on User Role editor. 

And what this does now is that you can go through the section so basically, if you click here, you can bounce between your different was that your different kind of stock or default user roles? So you got subscriber customer shop manager, contributor, author, and editor. So let’s just say if you were the shop managers click here. 

All right. Now if we scroll down, it shows you all these different stuff that you are allowed to or they’re allowed to do. They can delete shop coupons, they can edit other posts, they can edit other pages, they can edit other shop orders, and as you can just scroll through all the different things that they could do. 

And then you can personally click and set everything up or now i don’t know I’m not gonna go through every single item because that just seems very redundant. But you can break these up into like kind of core so if you want Theme Options, or posts or pages and it lets you know what you they can actually do while you’re highlighted out. So if you go to like subscriber and we go there they basically can do two out of 167 things. Now the Schulich and editor can do 74 Right. Let’s just say you wanted a your own user role, and you want to set this up for that person or for someone in your organization. What you can do now is you can go add role and your role ID let’s just call this let’s just call this new underscore user. 

But there is another thing that I do want to show you what this is there’s other roles. So if you wanted to, you could add other roles or other capabilities to here. And where that might come into play is if you let’s say you have a a membership site or you have a e commerce site where you want them in as a subscriber, but you can also let them access maybe a certain page to get certain discounts. And you want to have them as not only a customer but maybe there was another role that gave that you’re able to give that permission you can’t do that right now with this plugin right now but this plugin with a another plugin. You will be able to do that. And I’ve done that in the past. So I’m just kind of keep that in mind that that’s a possibility. But this is a easy way for you to manage new user roles and get people to do exactly or allow them to do exactly what you want within your website. And the good news is is that all of these little functions here, like deleting other products, deleting other posts, delete posts. 

All these things right here are pretty self explanatory. You know, like, delete users, that’s probably not a great one for let’s say, a are an editor like a blog contributor to us, right, you know, so you’ll be able to go in and out of that.
