What is a domain? 

A domain is just a registered web address that you will use to drive traffic to your website. It is basically when someone types in, say nba.com or cnn.com. It’s basically just within the web browser makes you travel to that website. So we’re going to have to register one so people can access the websites that you’re building. 

There’s three companies that I am recommending to use. 

GoDaddy is one of the biggest domain registered companies in the world. 

SiteGround is my favorite WordPress hosting platform. It’s super easy to use, clean, and easy for you to get collaborators on. People in your organization can come in and help. 

If you end up choosing SiteGround for your hosting, it might just be easier to just purchase the domain through SiteGround. But the only downside I will say is is that most websites are most domains through SiteGround are 15 to $17 a month, so you’re not going to come out the gate with that good deal. 

And again, it’s not 100% necessary, but I didn’t want to throw that out there is that if you’re looking for ease of use SiteGround is the way to go.
