Video Summary

All right, this section we’re going to talk about the background color property, and how we can use that and different elements. This is pretty straightforward. I don’t think I need to go into much explanation. The one thing I will say is that color, um, handles like text and font colors, background color handles the backgrounds behind elements. Um, it’s pretty self explanatory. Let’s just hop into cocoa.

So now that we’re in code pen, like I said, the color is the color of the font. The background color is the color behind the text. So let’s say we could just go right in back brown color, and we’ll just do blue.

Alright, so we just made the background of the paragraph blue. Now we can change this and use a hexadecimal color.

And now we have version of or like kind of like a dark purple. Now let’s try an RGB color, or gap and all this I’m just going to make these numbers up so we’ll see what color we ended up getting 44 and 89.

Okay, so we use that and maybe you want to say well, I like this color, but or like this background color, but it used to be a little bit lighter because I want the I want the font to pop. So we’re gonna put that and put an A for the rgba and do a comma and let’s do point three And now it’s a little bit lighter and that doesn’t look to look half bad.
