Video Summary

Alright in this section we are talking about descendant selectors. And descendant selectors is how we can select multiple different elements to target one specific one. And look so let me just kind of go through and descendant selectors allow you to use multiple elements to target one specific element or a group of similar elements to create unified styling. This is important to know because most WordPress developers use descendant selectors to save time and be more efficient with their code. And we will run we will run and work with descendant selectors on a regular basis wound emulate the CSS code. We won’t need to know the reasoning behind every single descendant selector, just the logic behind it. So what does that mean? What does that mean it means that when we are in the CSS we’ve been going through and we’ve been doing pretty basic examples and understandings we’ve been targeting on paragraphs, we’ve been targeting images, we’ve been targeting different things, but as we’ve learned from the HTML lessons is that we can use classes and IDs to target and manipulate certain elements within a certain section. So I think the best way to show you how this is how this works is just to hop in and go over to code pen.
