Video Summary

The brake line tag or element is a really great way to break up individual paragraphs or space out paragraphs as you see fit. 

So I talked about this in the next section and I really think that seeing it on the code pen is really going to help but basically if you were able to put in the BR little tag right here, it basically just drops the next words that are after that down to the next line. And also to was that with the br tag is one of the few tags we don’t need a closing tag with, we can just use that on its own. So let’s hop over to Kota. Alright, so in the last in the last section, from the last tutorial I went through and I showed you how we can do a br tag so let’s just take this, this just take this back, and if we click down here, it’s gonna go back to normal, right so anywhere we want to, we can come in here and we’ll say we’ll do a br tag. And I’m just gonna copy and paste this into different sections. Let’s go here, and here. And here. 

All right. So every time we put in that br tag in the middle of the paragraph, it drops it down on the same line, right but it drops it down one more, but now we can still use this br tag to get extra spacing between paragraphs and different elements that we’re targeting. So let’s just say at the end of this PDP tag, we put in the br tag, right, come down here. Now we just dropped that a whole nother section. If we didn’t, not only dropping the spacing between this paragraph and this paragraph, we decided that this right here is where we want a line break. So these are just things that you can go and play with that maybe you want to have another section somewhere that you will you know that you want a little bit more spacing. These are ways that you can go about it. So um, a br tag is a very useful tool for when you’re needing that extra space and you don’t really want to hop into a styling situation. with CSS. I understand that we’re not quite there but this is just a good thing to remember and so with that being said let’s go on to the next element.
