Video Summary

All right, in this section we’re going to talk about word list and border.

Basically what that is, is if you want to have any kind of bullet points in your content, this is how we go about it right? So the unordered list is basically your just standard circle bullet points. So if you look over here we have the UL tag. And then we have these li tags and basically the LI tag is just a list tag. So basically what we do is we say that we’re having an unordered list, and here are our list items. Okay. And for the next section, we’re talking about ordered lists. That is where you actually want a numeric list. So maybe you’re ranking your favorite beverages. So you have an ordered list, and the allies are your list items. And these will go one, two, and three. So let’s hop over to code pen and let’s just test this out. So I’ve copied and pasted this section in here. So you see that you have the unordered list and we have the list items. Right so right over here, you see that there’s the little dots. Now, we can get creative with when we get into WordPress and stuff having dots we can have those be icons, we can have those be you know, different shapes. Like we could have these be stars, or have these be checkmarks.

Now if we go here, now it’s up here. But do note that when you are setting up situations like this, now if I put a space in front of this, we will get a additional space over here. But just note that if you space, all this out, that you won’t get that spacing. So it’s just something to think about when you’re setting this up, that spaces do matter. And when you go in, don’t be afraid to play around with you know, testing different things out. The more that you can play around and figure out how things work here. It’s going to make it’s just going to extend your ability once we hop into WordPress and we really start manipulating these themes. and these web pages and it’s elements that these developers have given us but we want a little bit more we want to add some extra stuff to it. Visa things are really going to help you in the long run. So with that being said let’s move on to the next element.
