29.g Customized Tabs, Duplicated Forms For Each Tab, Finished Section

Video Summary

In this lesson, we are going to figure out what we’re going to do with our tabs for our contact form. And let’s think about the functionality of these tabs. So what makes these tabs really beneficial for us is that we can basically want or are our overarching service categories as these tabs and the user will be able to click on them and be able to fill out the form and will be able to know what exact services they’re looking for. Right? That’s like the real basis of this contact form. So what we’re going to do is let’s figure out what our tabs are going to be.

These are the ones that are kind of really associated with kind of the cars are like kind of the insurance but they do have a lot of car based icons, which is nice. So let’s just I’m just gonna use this car for now. Picking an icon at this point, I think it’s more preference so I’m not going to go deep into finding like the perfect icons for each one. You we did that we did that for the service section. So if you want to go back and figure out kind of just strategies are the best way to figure those out. By all means go back to that lesson, but I don’t think it was very necessary. We got auto repair.

Now if we go to the bottom and we click on maintenance, we have a little label that says maintenance. So if you wanted to have that for each one of them, so that way they know if you want to have like a little bit of an extra label right there you could and really what you could put in any kind of tags and stuff that you want right here but that’s just kind of a cool little trick if you want to use this at some point in the future. So I think this section looks pretty good. We got you know, some space right here. The guy’s not too not too distorted. The pictures looking great. We can bounce back and forth. We have all of our not all of our tabs with their own individual forms. And our forms have labeled subject lines so we know which services are which when we get the information or when we get the email from the website what’s in it fills out the contact form. So I think with that we just wrapped up all of our sections that we have for our site. But the one thing we still need to do is we need to make this a a dynamic.

Maybe not maybe not dynamic. But we need to make like our menu options, a working landing page. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to have different menu items that are going to be able to click and go down to each section. So that is going to be what we’re going to learn next is we’re going to cover menus and how we’re going to set them up in the header and the footer. We will see you in the next lesson.
