Video Summary

If you’re ready to start building or building the first homepage is this nice little slider right here. So I want you to do is I want you to click pretty much anywhere this section and you’ll see that the TDA revolution slider switch element right over here. So, this first section is a slider revolution template. And basically I want I wanted to make this distinguish two is that the company’s name is slider revolution. But a lot of WordPress developers refer to it as revolution slider, and I certainly know that they are interchangeable and I may be seeing more than the other because I’ve seen them flip flop so many times that I’ve mixed them up a lot as well. So whatever combination of revolution slider slider revolution, we are talking about the same. 

Revolution is a premium plugin that is pretty much utilized by I’d say about 90% of all WordPress. The reason why a lot of WordPress developers leverage this plugin is because you’re able to have really nice on animations. There’s a ton of really cool stuff that you can build off of this. And more times than not, it’s made as the first thing we see on the homepage, but it does have other applications as well. And this is the way this this plugin is set up. It’s pretty robust. So I’m having a whole lesson dedicated to this. But we’re just building this. We’re just going to leverage the template that they gave us, we’re going to add a few different things. 

But how do we access that? So one thing we can do within the Elementor page builder has worked on the revolution slider or slider revolution templates, where we have to do is we have to go into the dashboard. So if you come over here to the dashboard, and I want you to do is scroll all the way to the bottom until you reach the last menu. And right here you’ll see slider revolution. And I would say out of all the themes I’ve ever worked on lift slider revolution, it’s usually between the third and this option on the bottom of your left of your dashboard menu. 

Right so the original has all of the animations, all of the slide transitions, everything that we’re going to wind so being able to have that as a reference to go off of in case anything happens during our development process is a always smart choice just to duplicate it and have the original. So we’re gonna come in here and we’re gonna put the little pencil again and now we will start our development. 

Before we get in, I’m gonna go through and just take the time and edit some of these photos. So that way we will hop in the next lesson we’ll have them but I will have a short video explaining why I chose him and then we’ll hop in and start building the first line went up.
