Video Summary

Alright before we hop in and start editing our footers, I do want to cover a little tips and tricks section for the footer logo. And I want to show you what I mean fro I went over here and I just clicked on Edit and now I’m in the footer. And as you can see from here is that we have a kind of a dark blue, purplish background and we have a the themes default is a white modems are kind of a little bar right there. 

When it comes to footers, by all means if you want a white background, go you know, go ahead and use it but for when I’m building websites, I like to have a picture overlay or a colored background. Just because that if you’re thinking about user experience and you’re scrolling down and someone because a lot of times in the footer, you will have you know, maybe certain links that you might need to find or you’re looking for an address. So scrolling down the footer might give you the information that you might need and the darker non white background. Kind of just instinct tells the brain this is the story but you might not have a white background or to do you might not have the png. So let’s kind of go over here and let’s just say we have to do very well for the footer. 

But let’s just say if you want to use that, let’s just upload this. So if you click on here and let’s just say we put this in let’s upload this photo. So we’re gonna put this in here now we have this, we can see it it’s a white background, but you know this is becomes down to more of the developers preference but I would rather have everyone happy. My mechanic mechanic auto pros, the white and the icon be white or have white over because because if this was just if this was if you didn’t have the white background, this would guarantee it blended into the background footer and you wouldn’t be able to see it right. So having a different version of that is you know can be really crucial on how the footer looks. And if you don’t if you need a graphic designer by all means reach out to us. But a lot of times I’ll get I’ll get icon photos, and they don’t have the PNG So PNG is basically what this is.
